Adding carbon credits

Culture holds several familiar phrases and colloquialisms. It isn’t as though all of the sayings are accurate, some are and some aren’t. One of the more accurate well-known popular phrases is ‘follow the money’. A few others: ‘money talks’, ‘money makes the world go around’, ‘money can’t buy love’, ‘gimme money’. Even: ‘it’s not all about money.’

Ideas without the ability to pursue those ideas into solutions; are they useless?

In the pursuit of providing actual transportation solutions, an idea has to correspond to an applied application of that idea. Pursuing ideas for transportation generally require a tangible vehicle prototype and development into production. Only then can an idea grow into implementation of a solution.

The previous blog post referred to an Elon Musk quote. The quote isn’t exact but, the message is clear: “Without a product, there is no money.”

In the transportation industry, costs are high. Ideas and money have to work together. Ideas go nowhere without support. For transportation, millennia can go by without major change. Trains brought change to travel in the early 1800s. Automobiles and airplanes changed transportation a hundred years later. Now, a hundred years after cars and planes were introduced, society is demanding something better.

What’s better, faster, more convenient, faster, less expensive and safer than a car?

Regarding ideas, not all ideas are practical and good. Even the best ideas are useless without money to become tangible.

Can realistic ideas on how to replace cars be forced into existence? Using a common colloquialism, ‘you can lead a horse to the water but you can’t make it drink’.

Human development has reached a point of awareness in some behaviors to be cognizant of responsibility in behavior. Entering into conversations in theology or philosophy are far beyond the scope of this blog post, however, the topic of human behavior, here; is about urban growth for transportation innovation.

What society is demanding from transportation is a new mode of transportation. There’s also an absence in an agreement to what sustainability is. While there is a unison in pointing to the automobile as the focus of what has to be replaced, merely changing its motor: it’s still a car. Automobile centric land-use design is unsustainable. Western Society has been built on an unsustainable foundation. Changing the motor of a car changes very little about the land-use design.

Carbon credits

Even extremist politics in legislative demand have provided incentive for ecological validation. There is a global governmental sponsored program that allows voluntary environmental equalization to those who spend exuberant amounts of material resources. The government’s program provides credits to replace suitcases filled with guilt.

What are carbon credits? There is great difficulty in writing about this without opining. Defining carbon credits can be assimilated into the political stream definition of green: that green has an intentionally ambiguous meaning.

Here is a definition described by Landgate.com. This is from their website: Carbon credits, also known as carbon offsets, are measurable emission reductions from certified climate action projects. They reduce, remove or avoid greenhouse gas emissions. A carbon credit gives the right to emit one metric ton of carbon dioxide. This is done by assigning an area of land to sequester the carbon, for example.

Carbon credits can either be exchanged in a carbon market voluntarily or as part of a regulatory framework. A company purchasing carbon credits is funding projects that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This offsets the company’s emissions.

Here is another explanation from submer.com: What Are Carbon Credits?

A “carbon credit” is a tradable certificate. More specifically, it is a permit that gives the holder the right to emit, over a certain period, carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases e.g. methane, nitrous oxide, or hydrofluorocarbons.

The carbon credit limits the emission to one tonne of carbon dioxide or the mass of another greenhouse gas with a carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) corresponding to one tonne of carbon dioxide. In other words, 1 carbon credit corresponds to 1 metric tonne of carbon dioxide prevented from entering the atmosphere.

For further explanation, here are two additional links: 8billiontrees.com and the EPA. This last link is a company with a program to help communities build a bank of carbon credits: native.eco.

CATTCC is here to stimulate the conversation to build a viable sustainable transportation alternative with a brand-new mode of transportation. There is no necessity of carbon credits with transportation that emits no pollution.

Pointing to illustrate that the concept of carbon credits is political; can carbon credits benefit the pursuit towards innovative solutions of sustainability? Again, the only task of government bureaucracy is to maintain the status-quo and increase its growth. It’s easy to hold the perspective that the carbon credit trade platforms provide selected entities a profit arena from government mandated restrictions.

All urban growth is built upon its primary source of transportation. As Earth’s population increases, sustainable transportation is even more imperative. Pacifying the untenable position of unsustainable growth perpetuates the problem.

Examining sustainable transportation alternatives requires an open perspective. Discovery, designing, and building something totally new; based on new science is an uncommon task. The notable human authors that are recorded as having accomplished great discovery and laying the foundation to this endeavor in exploring new scientific discovery are; Nicola Tesla, Viktor Schauberger, T. Townsend Brown, Albert Einstein, Otis T. Carr and John Searl. The most popular name of notoriety is Albert Einstein. These men are mentioned because their achievements were phenomenal. Most were ignored, disrespected and discredited by the accepted opinion of science, the government, or both.

GOD’s directing is what leads to innovation in this matter. Giving GOD the glory to allow deep-space to be explored is the proper way to proceed. All of mankind is less than a speck to infinite space.

A de Broglie wave is a theory synonymous to matter waves. His theory explains that beyond light; all particles have wave duality of being both mass and a wave. The argument in the CATTCC explanation is that de Broglie's theory extends to particles following a specific path of particle motion.

The point of this blogpost is to point out that Earth holds a negative charge. Grebennikov’s device, with the CSE’s held a negative charge. Earth’s atmosphere consists of both positive and negative charges. Grebennikov’s negatively charged device would repel Earth’s negative charge. The pivoting fans would manipulate a negative repelling action.
