What are the most important issues for transportation? 

In transportation, physics is important. Because of physics, math, too; is important. Also, using common sense; instead of political correctness: is an important component in considering the inevitable consequences to land-use. Additionally, safety at fast speeds.


 

Changing the urban design


Regarding urban land-use design and transportation, politics is a key player. Urban land development requires a lot of money, and where there’s money at play, politics are involved. Another issue with urban design and its dependence on the primary source of transportation, everyone uses transportation which makes everyone an expert. The popularity of transportation issues varies with the weather. As an example: bicycles are popular in the summer.


The quick conclusion: all writing is expressed opinion. When a writer poses a question and then takes a survey for that answer, it generally produces only what the writer wants to prove. The same is true for any government agency or organization; compiling information for a specific project. A questioner is used to support a pre-concluded agenda item. Here is an example:

This is a short sample of a typical survey. The purpose of these surveys is procedural. They compile ambiguous data. The arbitrary information is useless in finding out any useful details of information. Oh, of course, every survey begins with the obligatory and pointless but divisive racist identification question. These surveys could be used to identify a need to build a high-end condo complex or to build a bike lane in an area. These surveys exclude all pertinent information that would have a write-in option.


Government planning agencies are required to make attempts to engage the public. The surveys are the government’s attempt to engage the public to participate. With that being said, it’s as though the employees of the government planning agencies are incoherent to the fact that there are four types of land-use: nature, agriculture, transit-oriented design and automobile centric design.


Any government agency whose primary source of transportation is automobile centric, asking questions in a survey regarding transit; lacks a fundamental inability to comprehend the basic task of operational land-use design function.

 

The primary component of transportation to Transit Oriented land-use Design (TOD) is, by the obvious declaration of word identification, is transit. It’s actually a depressing surprise that a majority of people fail to recognize what “transit oriented” means. The frustration comes upon discovering that some government employees working in the transportation agencies don’t know the difference between transit-oriented design and automobile centric design.

The sworn obligation to all government employees and elected officials is to improve quality of life. If their jobs fail to implement this single objective, they have failed their duty and should be removed. This is an impossibility for bureaucratic procedure. Herein, lies a serious dilemma where procedure to maintain protocol is its function, instead of job performance.

 

What is important in transportation? The primary concern for modern transportation is to get from point A to point B in the quickest and most convenient way possible. The fundamental issue regarding that concern is the make-up of an area’s land-use design.


In urban design; the fixed rail transit dependent land-use design exists without the necessity of automobile access and parking. And in the automobile centric design, cars are dysfunctional without roads. 

 


So, what’s important?


What’s important in urban growth is knowing that the area’s primary source of transportation, projects what its land-use design function is.


The point being: sustainable urban growth requires sustainable transportation. And automobiles are wholly unsustainable. This raises a valid postulation: a new type of land-use should be added to the four existing land-use designs. The four existing land-use designs are: nature, agriculture, transit oriented, and automobile centric. There is cause to begin a new land-use design: sustainable design. Sustainability exists with nature, agriculture and most elements of transit-oriented design but, automobile centric land-use design is unsustainable. A new type of land-use design will emerge from a new mode of sustainable transportation.


What is important for transportation? Transportation efficiency.


Perhaps all the CATTCC posts haven’t made the point. What’s important for transportation? Transportation has to become efficient. The transportation vehicle model using chemical explosions with its 360-degree release of energy has to be reconsidered. These transportation vehicles only travel in 1 degree. Can this be justified as efficient? The answer: the inefficiency of energy use with today’s technological capabilities is unjustifiable.


With all the screaming political voices yelling for green, sustainability, and extreme climate, where are the solutions in the screaming voices? Who is actively working on viable solutions that provide floatation vehicles? What’s the future for efficient transportation?

 

The future of transportation floats. This can be achieved by the manipulation of gravity. Where is this research? Certainly, CATTCC can’t be the only entity pursuing this endeavor. Where are government agencies? Especially since they’re legislating unattainable mandates?


What’s needed to build an energy-efficient and sustainable brand-new mode of transportation? A device which uses gravity as its source for motion. Why is this important? Efficiency. What is the greatest source of motion in the universe? Gravity. At this point of technological achievement and exploration, what is the least sought-after field of science? Gravity.



The future of transportation floats


The future of transportation floats. How? By the manipulation of gravity. It has to be pointed out that floatation is totally different than a pursuit of flying. Floatation is a related to the science of gravity. Flying is aerodynamics.


From a scientific viewpoint, what is gravity? This has two responses. The first response: gravity is defined as what it does; by the laws of motion, authored by Isaac Newton 400 years ago. The second response is a definition of what gravity is.


Building a brand-new mode of transportation based on gravity, requires an exact starting point. This is no different than erecting a building on top of a foundation with a set of blueprints. Gravity has to be identified.


The currently accepted scientific answer to what gravity is, can be found here: “We don’t really know.” The laws of how gravity operates have been around for a long time. Advances in transportation demand exploration.


The demand for efficient transportation has to begin with discovery found in research. It’s important to ask relevant questions that hold valid answers.
