Climate Choice?

There is much to be written about climate change. What is it?

In the myriad of directions for answering this question, government sources are appropriate for their answers to this question.

https://www.un.org/en/climatechange/what-is-climate-change

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. (there is a link to an additional article to a 8/9/21 study by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).)

The Effects of Climate Change

The effects of human-caused global warming are happening now, are irreversible on the timescale of people alive today, and will worsen in the decades to come.

A bleak headline from NASA, who used to be involved in rocket launches but, now seeks to control the weather instead.

And to the question: What is Green?

Green is a color. In the realm of politics it has a different meaning. The popularity of this new word has bonded into culture with: green economy, green marketing, green chemistry, green energy, green tech, green bank, and green building. It brings its new definition to symbolisms and psychology. As a political term, green now stands for balance, nature, spring and rebirth. Its new symbolism represents prosperity, freshness, progress, and even the Green Party.

The word is most certainly a word that gives new hope to a euphoric idealism. It represents the abuse potential of laying the political groundwork for making human life illegal.

Even though the precepts of idealism are magnificent, every human alive has the choice to their own favorite color and they can never be wrong.

The fact remains, green, as an environmental expression is a political term that has a very ambiguous meaning. It alludes to all things sustainable. Green is, in essence: a marketing term. Nonetheless, we validate it and will continue with the with the word: sustainable.

What is sustainable

Here's what Webster's says is the definition of sustainable:

1: capable of being sustained (maintained at length without interruption or weakening)

2: a; of, relating to, or being a method of harvesting or using a resource so that the resource is not depleted or permanently damaged

b; of or relating to a lifestyle involving the use of sustainable method

How can we affect climate change?

CATTCC sees that the industrialization of civilization does have a global impact. There are two choices: stop or continue. Stopping means to turn off the lights, eliminate all computers, throw away all phones, stop eating cooked food, and start walking. Or, become more sustainable, which begins with transportation.

In realistic terms; what does climate change into?

Accord to another government source when asking the question: What is the difference between climate change and weather?

Here is the response from https://www.usgs.gov/faqs/what-difference-between-weather-and-climate-change :"Weather refers to short term atmospheric conditions while climate is the weather of a specific region averaged over a long period of time. Climate change refers to long-term changes."

In shortening the sentence, the middle of that sentence provides the most clarity for scientific accuracy: "climate is the weather".
