The future of transportation is dependent upon what we create today.

Who is working on a new mode of truly sustainable transportation? In writing this, there are parameters which control mechanisms to where modes of transportation operate. There are six modes of transportation:

• walking
• animals
• boats
• trains
• automobiles
• planes   

Today's technology has not produced other options but, each of these current modes has variants.

A variant to each of these different modes of transportation is comparable to how changing a pair of shoes is a variation to walking as a mode of transportation. Running still remains a variation of walking as a mode of transportation.

Western society's urban design is predominantly automobile centric. Its primary mode of transportation is the automobile. And the automobile is unsustainable. This is problematic. Where are the solutions? Where is the new mode for sustainable transportation? Again, who is building this and where can it be seen?

People will let go of their automobiles as a mode of transportation when a more convenient, faster, less expensive and safer form of transportation is made available. The car can not be replaced by a variant of the automobile, same with a train or plane. A totally new concept for travel has to be discovered.

Where can we look to discover a new mode of transportation? CATTCC is a think tank for advanced transportation innovation. This research is focused in the area of sustainable efficiency. CATTCC knows that the future of transportation floats, its source of motion will be with the use of gravity.

With modern technology expansion in communications and information, the current technological status in physics of gravity holds to principles established 400 years ago.
