An update article regarding what's new globally in hyperloop technology
sustainable transportation
By future.transit 07 Feb, 2024
The immediate need in transportation is to discover and build an efficient vehicle for long distance space flight and short distance travel. The current technology for long distance space flight is extremely inefficient. Developing short-distance transportation is vital for the practical purpose of integrating a more efficient and convenient method of transportation than an automobile.
China maglev prototype
By future.transit 22 Jan, 2024
Cars are unsustainable. All urban growth is based on its source of transportation. With only four types of land-use, Western Society’s transportation is restricted to cars for the automobile centric land-use design, and public transit for transit-oriented land-use. Removing cars from the automobile centric land-use design will cause all the automobile centric land-use development to become dysfunctional land-use. Essentially, this confirms that having no current alternative to the car produces a problematic situation
Twist Levitation | proposed maglev technology
By future.transit 07 Dec, 2023
Science has a saying: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. What’s the reaction to confining energy? The reaction is synonymous to compressing the air and fuel mixture in a combustion engine. The longer Western civilization withholds and restricts the natural progression of transportation, the bigger the explosion will be to bypass its current methodology. This leads to the question: what’s next for transportation?
Advanced Transit
By future.transit 10 Nov, 2023
Transit systems must comply to urban design. Any transit system unable to meet all of society’s transportation demands for its urban design; these transit systems serve like a band-aid to heal a broken leg. Very few of these transit technologies in development, nor government funded systems being implemented are viable transportation solutions. Many of the transit system technologies will never become useful alternatives to anything except being good parking lot circulators.
what is the future of transportation | existing patents for advancing transportation
By future.transit 20 Sep, 2023
These examples of existing ideas, show the path to finding a brand-new mode of transportation: that floats in the future. How can these devices and proposed devices take advantage of the new theory of gravity? It seems there might be an application. In analyzing these patents, what aspects of information can we glean for useable similarities? It seems the most advantageous consideration is building strength in proposing the new theory of gravity.
Vectus | Personal Rapid Transit | PRT technology
By future.transit 18 Aug, 2023
The concept with Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) is to minimize passengers in a vehicle with a large number of vehicles within the network. This is opposite of a train or streetcar that uses a minimum of vehicles and a maximum number of passengers per train section. This PRT methodology, by increasing car count along the track or guideway; it maximizes the number of passengers being able to travel in that corridor.
Applied Levitation technology | advances beyond self driving cars
By future.transit 11 Aug, 2023
There are distinct advantages for some people to use autonomous cars. Safety is of paramount importance for autonomous vehicles. The Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) industry was restricted from being implemented due to the necessity of grade separate rights-of-ways. The PRT technology is far superior from an energy use and sustainability perspective. However, political influence rules the lawmakers.
pixabay, Los Angeles | What is important to reach sustainable transportation?
By future.transit 01 Aug, 2023
What is important in transportation? The primary concern for modern transportation is to get from point A to point B in the quickest and most convenient way possible. The fundamental issue regarding that concern is the make-up of an area’s land-use design.
computer in the 1950s | applying new technology to transportation
By JP Sweeney 28 Jul, 2023
What’s the role of computer technology in transportation? The summation is that computerization is involved in every aspect of modern civilization. This leads to the conclusion that computers are involved in every aspect of transportation beyond walking.
